why dont you apt-get it then?
bt4 is missing a video player, there is really a need for one if you are going to do hard drive forensics.
i know the broblem with vlc running root but you can bypass that
What does vlc media player have to do with hard drive forensics?
na, like personal videos, what ever videos they got so you can learn there personal lifestyle and what they look like
also can recover a sex tape for insurance purposes
kids just dont know
Why not just download and install it yourself? it takes just a few seconds and isn't really needed unless your using BT4 as a day-to-day OS. Not really a necessity when compared to other tools.
it will be really handy to have vlc in a live boot environment
but bt customise script fails adding kde menus
remastersys also fails because of bt4
so i need help
Whereas mature adults such as yourself know all I assume?
The customise script will work just fine if you forget about updating the KDE menu. Its not likely that the BackTrack Developers will provide a special "BackTrack 4 with Video Player" release, so customising the ISO yourself is what you will have to do if you want a Live version of BackTrack with a video player.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".
