No response with airodump-ng

I cant get any information from airodump-ng tho there's available wireless networks (my own). The only thing it detects is my other wireless card which is used by windows (i'm using WMware).
I can't figure what's wrong, if I do a iwlist scan I find the network, and the information I need. But when I then use the specific information in airodump-ng (airodump-ng --bssid xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -w xxxx -c xx ra0) I still don't get anything..

I'm a noob, so i might do something wrong, here's what I'm doing after opening konsole:

I believe that "address" is the same as "bssid" so I use that.

But still nothing as you can see.. any idea to what I can do?

I'm using a usb wireless card (levelone WUA-0603) and WMware workstation, if that has any importance.

Should look something like this...

airodump-ng -c 6 --bssid 00:23:09:06:0D:00 --ivs -w wep mon0

where 6 is the channel & wep is the name of the file to save the ivs to.
More information might be able to help you more. Seems like you're almost there w/ monitor mode being enabled

The problem is not that it doesnt write the file. The network is at channel 11 so I tried to type

airodump-ng -c 11 ra0

and nothing else, that should make airodump looking for networks only at channel 11.
I do this, tho I already know the bssid from the iwlist scan, because it detects nothing at all.

So in summary, the weird thing is that iwlist does detect the network while airodump doesnt detect a thing no matter how long it is running.
