I am also having this issue at the moment. But I have a NB200. I have done the /etc/init.d/networking start run command but it doesn't display anything for wlan0 port. infact it doesn't even display the 'wlan0' in the first place.
After installing Backtrack 4, I have my eth0 up and running, all I'm trying to do now is try to get my wireless card to work, I have tried ndiswrapper to no avail, I have a Toshiba NB205 netbook with an atheros AR 9285 card, I have the windows drivers for it, I have also tried madwifi but cannot seem to get it to work. I would greatly appreciate input on this.
Regards.
