HD install crashes at 94% (on grub)

Anyone have a problem installing BT4f to hard disk with an installer crash at 94%
I'm trying to install it on a Dell Mini 10v (with OSX and Ubuntu already installed).
I'm installing to sda5 (about 10 gig ext3 partition), mounting on / and installing the bootloader to sda5 (same basic install as was done for Ubuntu).

It's gets to 94% aqnd crashes giving a "grubinstaller failed on code 1"

I've tried installing from CD and USB and get the same result.
ISO is good (MD5 good) and I have used it to install to a vmware image.

Any run into this and have a work around. Any advise or ideas?

I recommend you to install BT4 before Ubuntu. it might help

Good call.
I got rid of Ubuntu and then installed Backtrack without a problem.
After Backtrack was in, I could install Ubuntu without issues as well.

we could overwrite exiting ubuntu with bktrk too rgt . tht will be fine
