Hydra & Gmail not an pop3 protocol or service shutdown

hy everyone
i'm trying to use xhydra with my gmail account , putting my password in the password list ..
when i start the application i get thi s error:

not an pop3 protocol or service shutdown: (null)
what does it mean??
i've tryed with some other gmail account but the problem is the same..


i've used this parametres:
pop.gmail.com
995 (port)
be verbose

1 time every 50 seconds....

This is illegal and a violation of Gmails terms of service. You also posted int he wrong section. Not doing so well.
