this worked before on my machine runnin backtrack pre final, but now its not. I tried removing the driver, but it gives the same error. This happens if I try running this before I startx and afterwords. I've tried installing the backtrack-ati drivers, but same error. What am I doing wrong?

have you solved the problem im currently having screen resolution problems.

No I haven't been able to. I installing the driver so I can get ATI-Stream to work, but so far no luck. Rumors that it might be fixed in the newer kernel, and check the Linux-backtrack forums for help on that.

I haven't had any problems with the res, but I haven't tried changing it. I only want to install the driver for ATI stream.
