I would ask the author of the script
Hey can anyone help shed some light on my problem:
Im running BT4 install,Windows XP Professional VMware, and the latest version of Metasploit.
Downloaded camrecorder.rb script + associated files for Metasploit.
I placed the relevant files in there relevant directory's.
When i execute the script i get:
If anybody had any ideas id appreciate the help.Code:meterpreter > run camrecorder -t 10[*] Uploading ffmpeg.exe ...[*] Upload Complete ...[*] Starting Capture of 5's...[*] Downloading Capture ... [-] Error in script: Rex::Post::Meterpreter::RequestError core_channel_open: Operation failed: 2
Thanks

Same error here. The webcam is attached to a XP SP3 virtual machine via USB and functions correctly on the VM itself.
I wanted to include this script in a hacking demo im running for management. Any ideas on how to fix this error?
Thanks
try manully uploading ffmpeg & using the the same commandline in the code to see if ffmpeg is recording ur video correctly
if it is let me no & il make some edits to the code so it is compatible with vmware also sorry for a slow reply
