Error on Startx

I tried loading BT4 on my T500 and when I tried to use "startx" I get X
X: warning; process set to priority -1 instead of requested priority 0

and then it goes to Fatal server error:
no screens found
giving up.
xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

I can't seem to load it up. If someone could help me with this that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
