Default How can i install nvidia driver in bt3 final

hello , i installed backtrack 3 final to my harddisk . Now can any of u guys tell me how i can install the nvidia driver too.
when i launched the installer it gave me the following error:

Unable to find the kernel source tree for the currently running kernel.
Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your
kernel and that they are properly configured; on Red Hat Linux systems,
for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' or 'kernel-devel' RPM
installed. If you know the correct kernel source files are installed,
you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path'
    command line option.

can any one pls help me out here

You need to upgrade to BT 4 final there is no more support for 3.

    Default BT3 support

Then where can we get support for BT3? I tried BT4 after a friend told me is was way better, but nothing in it works on my system. No network, no sound, and even if I disable my nvidia and use onboard GPU it's still responding super slow.

I've used BT3 for years, and see no reason to upgrade if the upgrade is causing nothing but headaches. This thread is the closet thing to my own problem so I figured it the logical place to post this problem.

    I am running a Bio-Star MCP6PB M2+ motherboard
    AMD Athlon 2 x2
    4 gigs 1066 mhz memory
7200 rpm 16 meg buffer lappie HDD
    Nvidia 9500GT
    no floppy
Plextor DVD burner PX-870A (everything short of blueray)
    USB keyboard and mouse
    on wired LAN

0.o...think thats everything. Did I miss something you need?
