I've been trying to figure out how to log information about the networks around me. I told my friend next door I'd crack his network, but he said I wouldn't be able to since he has MAC filtering. Problem is, I can't seem to catch him with his laptop connected.
Plus, I've always wanted to keep tabs on the different channels that are being used in the area.
I can't figure out how to get airodump to output a log file.
~# airodump-ng --output csv mon0
Does not create a file for me. It's not in root, or anywhere else.
Also, what would be the best format to output as far as readability. And, is there a better tool/method for doing this?
