Startup boot image question
I've found where I thought the boot images were stored that load as BT3 is being booted which was in /etc/bootsplash/themes/Linux/images and copied them, changed them, and copied them back replacing the originals. However, when I boot, it STILL has the old BackTrack image with the "The quieter you are, the more you are able to hear" slogan at the bottom.
How is this possible? Obviously there must be a second location where these files are stored, however i have searched for all boot*.jpg, boot*.png, splash*.jpg and png etc and found only the ones I have changed.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this and have my altered boot images show instead of the original bt3 boot image? Even the config file located in /etc/bootsplash/themes/Linux/config is pointing to the ones I created so I don't know what to do.
I was able to get the splash screen that loads in pieces changed last night no problem, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the boot image.
Thanks for the help in advance to anyone who helps.
