Default The only thing that confuses me about WPA/WPA2 cracking is the dictionary

Do I make one myself? Do I download it from somewhere? What do I do and how do I integrate it into BT3 or one of the Shell Konsole? I'm kinda lost on that part

You can generate dictionary files (with scripts, crunch, etc) and you can download them. Here's the place you can start looking for one http://forums.remote-exploit.org/pen...-wordlist.html

That is one hell of a compression ratio if the filename is to be believed. One recommends someone confirms this file very carefully first - just for the benefit of the doubt.
    Still not underestimating the power...

There is no such thing as bad information - There is truth in the data, so you sift it all, even the crap stuff.

FYI that word list is completely useless for wpa. All it is is a 1-7 chars lowercase bruteforce list. If you remove every word less than 8 chars you are left with nothing.
