this is my problem :

if my friend have wireless connection and i want to connect to this pass phrase from xp i just put in the pass phrase or number liek : 123456 Example

but when i tried to do it in backtrack 4 :

iwconfig wlan0 essid your-access-points-essid mode managed key your-key

at "your-key"

i typed 123456 but no connection it got error dunno why although backtrack 4 driver can see my wlan0 already athereos and i can scan for networks but can't connect

or the "123456" pass should i type it in diffirent way in linux as key ?
