Default Verification of TLS for SMTP Server....?

    Hi All,

In my current project we have one SMTP (Postfix) server that will be TLS enabled (with may be condition).

How i can verify the TLS certificate on following basis:

    1) Verify that certificate authority is trusted.
    2) Verify the TLS certificate expiry date.
    3) Verify that certificate issued to particular application only.
    4) Verify the encryption cipher used in TLS.

    Thanks,
    Sharabh Sharma

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
