iWar / War dialling

Hi,
does anyone know where I could find a good tutorial on using iWar? I've found it on the BT4 vmware image but don't have much experience with telecom eqpt. I have been finding my way around backtrack for a little while now and have started working through "Hacking Exposed v6" to get a full picture of a thorough security audit on a company. I've read that although dial up is destined for retirement its still something worth looking at. Does any one have any experience, books to recommend or any other info on iWar or war dialling in general?
