I want to uninstall backtrack 4???
I need help uninstalling backtrack 4. I installed it using ubiquity installer or something and it installed backtrack 4 now i cant boot into windows vista only backtrack, when i turn on my computer it says something about GRUB and it countdowns then it starts backtrack. I cant seem to work around it can any one help so that i can boot vista instead of backtrack.
All you need is a entry in grub to boot you windows partition. If your windows partition is still there and you didn't over write it then I will assume its on sda1 so in that case you need to do this:
open a terminal
add this to the bottom
There is no uninstaller for linux
I did what you said. It said "Error writing /boot/grub/grub.conf: Permission denied" when i tried to save it....??
you need to be the root user.
