VMWare disk not loading WLAN
Hello,
I'ts my first time trying this and any help is appreciated.
I'm running Vista and I have both a Linksys WUSB54GC and a Netgear WG111 and neither get loaded when I boot the disk in VMWare. When I type iwconfig it finds lo and eth0, but no WLAN.
I'm very new to Linux and all this. Am I missing something?? I also went and manually connected the USB device as described in the tutorial.
I'm stumped.

Post your lsusb output with both USB devices connected and shared with linux guest.

My life is this forum
Besides what hatake_kakashi suggested, try ifconfig -a and check if they appear.

lsusb lists the dongle and ifconfig does not show it.

Vmware
What VMWare are you using? Server/Workstation etc?
You need to connect the USB device direct to the virtual machine which requires vmware workstation.

I said to post (as in paste) the lsusb output not tell me if lsusb does list the device or not.
