Cracking WEP in backtrack 4

I have backtrack 4 on a disc, and a compatible wifi card. I followed this guys instructions www(dot)youtube(dot)com/watch?v=oHq-cKoYcr8. I can turn off the card, change the mac, turn it back on no problems. Then when I do "airodump-ng wlan0" it can scan just fine, but I never get any data for any of the networks except the open one. No matter what I never get any data, even after I do some of the provoking commands an wind up with like 1500 beacons, my data always remains at 0 for every network except the open one.

Anyone have any idea what is going wrong or what I'm doing wrong? How do I make this work?

when you type you should see
wlan0 Atheros ath9k - [phy0]
(monitor mode enabled on mon1)

as the results say "monitor mode enable on mon1

so you airodump-ng 'options' and the card mon1 and not wlan0
