We dont support BT 4 PreFinal here, try with BT 4 Final. What you describe sounds like more of an issue with booting from DVD rather than a compatibility issue though.
Asus ul50vt
I recently purchased an ASUS UL50VT laptop, tried to run backtrack 4 pre via cd boot.
All I got was a flashing underscore, and eventually went to "repair windows" ect.
Is this laptop compatible? or am I missing something here.

Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".
