bt4 freezes when i use the shell

hi all need some help, when ever i use backtrack 4 and i try to use the comand shell the whole pc freezes.
how far i get
i am able to load bt4 ,i can open a shell but when i run airmon-ng start wlan0 and press enter the whole pc freezes and i have to reboot the whole pc please help

Since you totally forgot to add details and specifics, I would not consider this a bug nor a fix.
Might want to add a little of the above on your next post so that we don't have to guess.

It could be the wireless device issue. So again, what archangel.amael said I would agree. If you posted information such as lspci output and dmesg, it would go a long way rather than asking for help without being specifc and make us read your mind.
