Cracking WPA and WPA2, same thing?

Does cracking WPA and WPA2 is about the same thing?
From my research, I think so.

I saw there was a flaw inside WPA, about the TKIP cipher, if I understand well, we do not use this flaw to crack wpa right?
What was this flaw about?

So there is 3 questions, would like if someone could help me out.

I'm not an expert on this matter, but I do have some insight.

WPA/WPA2 cracking is the same if you need the pre-shared key. Thats only if you're doing a dictionary attack. There is another method but it involves alot of luck. (making a rogue access point with the same name and collecting the key with it, I've never done it successfully)

TKIP vulnerablity gets the MIC it cannot get the PSK.
