Thank god that this is the first thread at all about it.
Just do a search on the forum. If that doesn't help search for wicd.

Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Am I the only one that uses Airodump and Iwconfig for all my wifi connection needs? Can't get better.
Ask questions on the open forums, that way everybody benefits from the solution, and everybody can be corrected when they make mistakes. Don't send me private messages asking questions that should be asked on the open forums, I won't respond. I decline all "Friend Requests".
Man for that they need some time.Like as,they start with basic tools.Only i don't know why they don't use search and manual.
my bad guys i sorted it now although wicd does not seem to want to connect to my network. I have a WEP key on the network and have entered that in the advanced settings and selected "WEP (passphrase)" but it doesnt connect, any1 know why or got same issue? thanks
