Try one of the other boot options. If you can get to a terminal then change the resolution per the command line.

Hy I'm New and i have problem with backtrack istallation
Hy everyone i'm Italian and i'm new in this forum..
i had a problem during the installation of backtrack.
when i start the installation with startx my monitor resolution is too low i think and i'm not able to see the back part of the desktop below the world map and so i can't preceed with the installation.. enyone can help me??
