Hey guys im testing out local security using metaploit on my own machine with the windows browser memory corruption module. everything seems to work great on my local machine. However im a bit lost as to how its supposed to work with a real remote machine with regards to the server host. Does the SRVHOST have to be my external ip or my internal ip. I have tried with my internal ip but nothing happens when the remote user clicks the link 192.xx.xx.xx:80/test.html and if i try to bind to my external ip instead of my internal ip which is viewable over the internet as i have port 80 open it says bind2 error. does anyone know how this is supposed to work? thanks.
