    Default asus 900hd atheros rtl8187se

is this compatible with backtrack 4 beta? i found somewhere else on the forums that there is a driver patch for it, called rtl8187se_coffee i used that got it into the OS and compiled it. but when i use certain commands like airodump-ng wlan0

    the networks dont populate.

any help would be appreciated. and if there is another patch i should know about, please let me know.

thanks to all who help in advance,

Not ideal to use with bt4b. You should use bt4 pre final instead along with the updated kernel that's in the repo. If those don't work wait a little longer for such chipset support.

Those drivers are for atheros chipset which is a completely different brand to realtek.
