Keykeriki: 27 MHz keyboards not already outdated?

Hello,

Keyboard sniffing with Keykeriki seems to be interesting and I do have some questions:

- why Keykeriki is limited to 27 MHz keyboards... Are such keyboards not already outdated (since several years)?
- why wired keyboards (emanations) decoding (see hxxp://lasecwww.epfl.ch/keyboard/) is not considered as well in that tool ?
