Have you tried modifying the value of Content-length? You are right that you must make the length match your content. It should be pretty straightforward to modify the content and then record how many bytes there are.
Hi all,
I'm working with ettercap at the moment but having an issue with injecting html.
Replacing works fine as long as you keep the content length the same but if for example I wanted to replace a body tag with a line of javascript then the content-length header is going to cause bytes to be missing off the end of the page.
Is there a way to parse out and recalculate the content-length on the fly or just generally a better way to do this?
Thanks
K
