You are not really going to get much support for this. However you can find the directory where the .desktop files are located and copy them somewhere offsite for a backup.

openbox window manager
well, i recently discovered openbox window manager and like the way it looks. i know its compatible with ubuntu based distro's i just have have some questions about the menu. i know its gonna dismember the bt4 menus so does anyone know how to save them. any help would be great, thanks.
