Undefined Video Mode Number

So when i boot BT4 and run it from the CD i get this following message

"Undefined Video Mode Number: 317
Press <Enter> to view available modes, <Space> to continue, or wait 30 secs."

so i press enter and i get a choice of resalutions thatr are tiny !
(80x25 ect...)

i know my monitor is capable of displaying higher lol !

if i just press space and continue, the text displayed is REALLY small.

Is 80x25 the biggest resolution size you get or what ?
Might want to look through the list and find one that is appropriate.
You may need to configure the x-server. It might be that your video card is not supported or not recognized.
It might also help us if you can post the info on said card.
