Cool Problem with Bt4 pre release airodump-ng eth1

    This is my problem
    i tried "airmon-ng start eth1 " but it says

    Chipset Driver

eth1 Unknown wl (monitor mode enabled)

    and it doesn't start airodump-ng eth1

    ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Invalid argument

ARP linktype is set to 1 (Ethernet) - expected ARPHRD_IEEE80211,
ARPHRD_IEEE80211_FULL or ARPHRD_IEEE80211_PRISM instead. Make sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng start eth1 <#>'
Sysfs injection support was not found either.

i don't know if anybody can help me to figure out this ..thanks

The HowTo forum is not a place for you to ask questions. Post in the correct area next time please.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

wl driver does not support monitoring extensions. Broadcomdeliberately removed that functionality out of their wl drivers as noted here: [Full-disclosure] [tool] Broadcom NDIS driver monitor enabler (or simply monitor mode for your macbook)
