    If you can ping Google then you aren't having ICMP issues or DNS resolver issues. Maybe your next best step would be to try traceroute.

    still do not know what causes the problem, hehe~
    but i have a successful installation on vmware running on another server

    Well there you go. Looks like everything is working. I guess it was one of those flukes.
