Aircrack-ng can't use numbers wordlist.
Well I am using aircrack-ng and it works fine with normal wordlists, but then when I try to use a wordlist with only numbers, aircrack will not function properly. I have updated it to the latest version.
Cowpatty seems to use is just fine.
The wordlist consists of the numbers '0000 - 9999', '0000 - 99999', '0 - 99999'
The file "numbers.txt" is 75.9MB, and yes they are all in one line each. No spaces, or any special characters.
Any help would be appreciated

No I dont, It just tries only a couple keys and says that the crack failed do to the pass phrase not existing in the wordlist. Sometimes it just doesnt even try any keys and it says it failsOriginally Posted by mrkazu

Your wordlist contains numbers, starting at 0000 and up to 9999, yes?
What are you trying to crack? WEP? WPA? Do you realize if you're going after WPA that passphrases need to be at least 8 characters in length? What you are saying is that your passphrase list is not suitable for WPA.
What am I missing?
No software errors here. Sounds like design intent to me.

The issue is that aircrack-ng is discarding the list because none of the numbers are more than 8 chars. WPA has a 8 char minimum.
