Can you boot to cd and post your grub.conf? What did you use for the manual partition?
hello there, i was trying to dual boot bt on a something already running windows xp. i couldnt get the guided method to work, so instead i resized the partition i was trying to use and freed up 30G. i booted bt4 final and tried manual partition i created a 2G swap space and the rest i created a primary ext3 and set the mount point to "/". after that installation seems to go fine until i try rebooting then i boots straight into windows. if anyone could give me an idea what to do from this point i would greatly appreciate it.

i cant find grub.conf in the "usual" places. would menu.lst work? i used the partitioner included with the iso, or did you mean what did i use on the windows side?
