    Default How do I install flash player in BackTrack?

    sorry newbie here im running backtrack 3 and trying to install adobe flash player because i cant view videos on the internet when i open up the shell and i do this:
    -bash: ./install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz: Permission denied

    seems like i am the root user but still get this message if anyone can help thanks in advance.

    The thread you posted this to had nothing to do with Flash player, do NOT hijack threads like this again, its rude.

    Now, regards your problem I'd suggest you start off reading this thread and get your Linux skills up to scratch before you start using BackTrack.
