    Default How to connect to the internet

    okay let me explain myself i installed backtrack 4 beta on my usb pen and booted it but i dont know how to connect to the internet

    i have an isp and use broadband to connect to the internet through a router

    i have been searching for hours but i think the problem is probably because i have backtrack installed on my usb and maybe because i use a username and a password provided by my ISP to connect to the internet

    As the OP above you stated check around here, there are plenty of threads that describe how to connect to the internet. There is no need to keep posting about what you have looked for. Once you find the relevant info then you can make a post stating that you were successful.

    i had to google it and found out this command to use in the terminal:

    sudo pppoeconf
    i hope that helps other people too
