A Couple first your inability to change your display resolution is not a bug nor a fix, so post in the correct section.
Second, try providing a little detail as to what you did to fix the problem besides making a post.
I cant see the " Start Menu " on Backtrack 4 Pre Final after installing KDM.
Some tip ?

Sorry Archangel, I posted on the wrong section, this is a question not @ fix.
I cant change the screen resolution (the bar on the bottom of the screen isnt there)
I tried to configure the desktop and use the bar at the top of the screen but it doesnt show me the tools I want. Is there any way to get the bottom bar back ?

I know it is not a bug or a fix that is why I already moved it.
Furthermore DO not, dig up old posts and post worthless garbage in them.
I deleted 3 posts that you have made today! One of them was over a year old
No one mind's is you help and every one appreciates it but there is no need to dig up threads that are old and dead, not to mention if the OP is banned we don't care if they ever get their answer so pay attention before making another useless post.
Take this as your friendly and only warning!
As for your problem I would suggest a quick search of google for the following
change screen resolution command line ubuntu
