im also in the market for a new usb nic, ive been looking all around the forums
and really havent found too much.

on newegg, look up the EDIMAX EW-7318USG
on the first review the person purchased it for backtrack 4 and said it would out of the box. so im looking at that one but i dont want to close out my options


also i cant find the wiki at all, i must be blind. can someone please provide the link. haha.

I will probably go with a newer model of ALFA networks. One that supports
802.11n.

And also be aware that I dont own any stock in Alfa corporation, but I plan to buy some before suggesting to a few more people that they buy Alfa cards.

I have been reading on length about:
AWUS036H or AWUS050NH
(BT4 ofc)

I want a card that is as easy to use as possible - mainly using WEP encryption testing of keys.
That suggested the more stable (as I assume) AWUS036H.

However, most companies in Sweden use 802.11N - and regarding the driver problems on the AWUS050NH - I am now stuck in my research.

Is it better to get two cards - one for each area ie:
1. WEP 802.11B/G
2. WEP 802.11N

I am yet to find a stable card for WPA1/2 802.11N - As I havent found any reviews that actually point at a stable solution?

Would be most greatful for any links or advice - I rather just buy more cards+laptops than run separate scripts after each other when I go through infrastructure security.
