Post the output of df -h and what you are doing that says out of space. You should monitor df -h while the system is very slow, might be related to virtual memory swaping. Also monitor 'top' which shows many system stats relating to memory.
Help, theres something strange with my bt3 on usb,
its a persistan installation in a 2Gb with the changes partition with 1.2 Gb, it was working well, but now, sometimes it gets veery slow and given me the error message "No space left on device", i do a df -h and it tell me that the partition of changes has a 92% used, i have 97M available.
any comments??![]()

turns out that the space is ok, but i max out of inodes.
with df -i it show me 0 inodes available.
how can i recover some back?, i erase a couple of files but not enough.
maybe some unseen temp files? or some tool to check o revise the inode table?
Reformat the drive. Speaking from experience, trying to grow the inodes on a filesystem can be a supreme PITA.
I use and recommend ReiserFS, YMMV but basically anything that is not EXT3.
Still not underestimating the power...
