hi guys,
any one of you know of any tool that sniffs passwords and hashes from a wireless network. or maybe looks at a pcap file and extracts them. i'm looking for one that sniffs without joining the network(s). i know dsniff but it only detects cleartext passwords (am i wrong?) but i also need hashes to crack.
thanks a lot

A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
I'm not certain if it's what you're looking for but have you looked at Cain & Able from Oxid.it? I've yet to use it so I'm not certain if it does what you're needing it to. I just stumbled across it as a "password sniffer" but to what degree I know not. (Did I just say "I know not"?) Anyway, I'll check around tonight when I get to skewl.
