    Default [Errno 5] input/output error

    i have problem with install backtrack 4

    the problem start after 40% installing

    And this message appears

    {
    This particular error is often due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or drive,
    or a faulty hard disk. It may help to clean the CD/DVD,
    to burn the CD/DVD at a lower speed,
    to clean the CD/DVD drive lens (cleaning kits are often available from electronics suppliers),
    to check whether the hard disk is old and in need of replacement,
    or to move the system to a cooler environment.
    }

    [Errno 5] input/output error

    and i try other copies , but nothing change

    Help me Please ...

    If you've tried several copies, the CD/DVD drive would be my first suspect.

    The most common cause for this error is a bad burn or an iso with a bad md5.

    I would first check the md5 of the iso
    Then if the md5 is correct burn at the slowest speed possible (my preference under windows is imgburn) it's free, can burn very slow and can verify the burnt disc against the iso to prove that the image was burnt correctly.
