hi guys... i do a fresh install BT4 pre-release on my HDD, and work all fine...
i dont like kde, and now BT is bassed on ubuntu/debian.. i try to install gnome-desktop...
just open a console and put there: apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
reset, and start GDM (configure)
and all that! BT4-pre, works fine! with gnome... all script and tools, works fine from console
but... the problem is... how converter or export the items KDEmenu, to gnomemenu.
yea... the BackTrack menu included in KDE.. in gnome is gone...
anyone have idea?

I tried to do, what it says there, but does not work for me, maybe because the example is in BT4 Beta, I am using the Pre-release.
