did you check the md5sum of the iso?
did you burn it at the lowest speed?
BackTrack 4 (pre) Final DVD work fine with my Sony vaio Laptop, my problem is my Desktop PC, it boots at first up to the backtrack menulist, then after i choose form the menu, It just stop from:
Starting Up...
Loading pls wait...

md5sum of the iso is correct and i manage to Run the same DVD without problem on my laptop, i burn it to the lowest speed also....

I tried "Esc" and the power button nothing happens... And i just tried in my friends PC and it worked just fine... IS there anyway that its a hardware problem probably not compatible?

Did you try all of the boot options that are available ?
Have you ever used ubuntu on the same setup? If not might want to give it a try as well. Help to eliminate the various problems that it could be.

edit the first grub option. the second line of it should say "quiet" at the end. erase the quiet at the end then boot. that should tell you whats going on in boot and where its freezing.

It finally work! I just remove My Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT, then use my Built in Vcard, then it just boot smoothly... does it mean i need to buy new video card that is compatible with Bt4?
