I'd imagine your browsing out to the vulnerable web application you set up. The login itself is vulnerable to SQLi. Also your the one who created the MySQL database and have the user name & passwords for it so I'm confused - what kind've pop up are you getting? Just a standard login pop-up on the page, or a pop-up like you get when attempting to login to a router? Post a screen shot
