Default Can someone hack into my PC via wireless while I'm monitoring using Airodump-ng?

I am a noob so please forgive the paranoia. I am booting up using the BT3 final live CD on a PC that normally runs WIN XP PRO. I am happy enough with the firewall and antivirus that runs while I'm booted into the WIN XP operating system, but I'm worried that my computer is more vulnerable when I am booted up with the BT3 final live CD.

I do not try connect to any APs while in BT3, all I ever do is listen passively in monitor mode with either Airodump-ng or Kismet and my hardline internet is unplugged while in BT3.

Can someone access my computer through my wireless usb adapter while I'm running BT3 final Live CD if I am not connected to any AP?

    Thanks for any help.

    No.

But sooner or later you will try and connect it, and if you do something illegal then a legion of lawyers, cops and daemons will come and eat you.
