Can someone help? I'm getting an error after using airmon-ng and getting 0 data!

I'm using backtrack3 final. When I type airmon-ng i get my interface: wlan0, the chipset and the driver or whatever it is. But then I do airmon-ng start wlan0 and I get an error saying something about my iw not working and to download something from a site. So I ignore that and do airodump-ng wlan0 and I get all the BSSID's and high beacons, but the data stays at 0!

I also went to that site, downloaded the stuff they were talking about and put it on my usb stick. But i have NO CLUE how to install it. When I open them in backtrack 3, I get a bunch of script stuff and junk. So what am I suppose to do?

actually never mind I got everything figured out. Now only if I knew how to delete this thread...
