    Can someone suggest a PoE alternative to the alfa AWUS036H?

    Any access point can be converted to poe. My wrt54gs is poe in my hallway.

    In addition to the DIY approach, several manufacturers make PoE devices. Linksys and DLink are two that are inexpensive and work well.

    Thanks for the replies.

    But isn't the Alfa USB? Will it work in the same way with a USB to Ethernet adapter? Is there an AP that has similar capabilities that has an Ethernet connection?

    Are you sure you understand the difference between a Wifi adapter and an Access Point?
