Unable to encrypt packets with airtun-ng. HELP

I use the simple command

airtun-ng -a AP:MAC -w WEPKEY mon0

The AP is mine, and i know the WEP key.
But no matter what, even if i change the WEP key to 128/64 on the AP, i always get this

ICV check failed!

Why would this happen?

I noticed the same thing would happen with airpwn when i try to use it on a WEP network, it would say the WEP decryption failed.

I use ath5k drivers and i am able to do everything fine on open networks.

P.S yes the key works to connect to the AP normally.

Be patient... Are you writing the wep key in ascii or hex?

i used both 64/128 hex and ascii( used wep_keygen to get the hex format)
No matter what, no matter what router with the known WEP key, i am unable to do it.
