StartX Error
Hey guys, I have this problem when executing the startx command. I'm running it on a livecd and im new to both linux and backtrack. Whenever i execute startx it loads for 3 seconds, then it says
X: warning; process set to priority -1 instead of requested priority 0
and some more random text which im not fast enough to read before it turns into a black screen and i have to reboot. The blackscreen comes about a second after the warning. It sounds to me like a problem with my graphics but i dont seem to find anything. Thank full for any replies.

Have you tried vesa mode?
Before you get to the point of entering startx, you should have a list of options to boot into. Try the option with vesa in it if you suspect a graphics problem.
