Soundcard prob!

Greetz !

Would you please help me on this one!,It seems like i have a problem with my Soundcard i can't hear the system bell nor my MP3's , i always get the same problem after Installation

I can't really figure out where the problem is!....after Upgrading my Firefox browser to 3.5,the sound was working OK on Youtube for example , but the system remain the same


Card's properties:

Check with the kmix volume controls & also alsamixer,alsaconfig

Problem solved!
after a little googling I've found this

sudo nano /etc/group

and add your user to group audio
audio:x:24:user

reboot

[secure_it]

Ya this was answered here numerous times.
