We got a DECT card and after a lot of playing managed to record and play back an unencrypted transmission.

Our biggest problem? (bigger than buying a DECT card from Switzerland...) was finding a phone in the shops we knew had encryption. The local shops (big Tesco's etc) only sell crap, nothing branded so cant tell what to buy to play with more lol
